The year is 2344. Six months ago, in what will later be known as the Battle of Narendra III, the Columbia’s sister ship the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-C was destroyed while defending the Klingon outpost on Narendra III from Romulan attack. In the months since, the galaxy continues in a state of flux as Galactic Empires across the quadrants vie.

In Beta Quadrant, The Federation’s longtime on again off again relationship with the Klingons takes a step forwards as the Empire, recognising the sacrifice of the Enterprise and her crew, commit fully to the Khitomer Accords.

The Romulan Empire continues its policies of extreme secrecy, subterfuge, and territorial expansionism. Edging closer and closer to the Neutral zone boundary, and contesting territory with both the Federation and the Klingon empire.

In the Alpha Quadrant, a golden age has arrived for a Federation of Planets which grows on a daily basis as new planets are discovered, more civilisations are contacted and colonies are settled. But, scratch below the surface and all is not perfect, the universe might be never ending, but space is limited. Much of the newly explored territory is contested.

The Cardassian Empire devours the resources of non-aligned worlds in order to fuel its crusade across the stars. The Tzenetki remain behind closed borders, their raiders striking deep into surrounding galactic nations to claim resources. In the Northern Sectors, the Gorn continue to hunt for spawning grounds and it remains to be seen if the newly contacted Ferengi and Breen are friend or foe.
